A Thing of Beauty is a Joy to Behold

I'm a little crabby this morning. It is a drippy dismal day outside, we watched a horrible film last night (Hobo With a Shotgun - sounds hilarious but is really just gross), AND they graded our road this morning.  I'll come back later to why this last irritates me so, but in the meantime, not wanting to spread crabbiness about, I will share the most beautiful thing in my yard this morning.

I keep fretting about the early spring, and reminding myself that just like a winter with lots of snow doesn't disprove climate change, nor does a mild winter mean it's speeding up. Trying to enjoy it - LOVE these pics, thanks for sharing!

I know what you mean. The Daffs make me feel good with their lovely sunny faces, but! they should not be there. Not for another couple of months anyway. We're riding the fence between hope and despair.

Barb, I know exactly how you feel. This is the hardest time of year for me, for a variety of reason, not least of which is the weather. My daffodils are blooming, too, have been for about a week or so now. I brought a few into the house, which brightened my kitchen window. Hang in there. Spring is coming :) and this weather makes us truly appreciate the changing of the seasons...
