Taking Care of the Important Things

This morning we were up at 3:00 a.m.  As I mentioned in a previous post we have been using all of our non-Power Ranger hours to accomplish project after project.  It's really making a difference around here.  But this morning we needed to do something really important.

We needed to sneak off into the darkness

  Watch the sun rise

  fall in love with the clouds

 spy on some old coots

 enjoy the mists coming off the water

 watch the birds fly

 love our boys

 reflect on the world

 play with turtles

 revel in the sunhsine

 spot a real fisherman

 and see how close we could get to him

 watch the boys do silly things

 and go along for the ride.

 We needed, in short, to take a little break.

Then we came home, I made a wonderful batch of Mjedrah, and we watched "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" which is one of the pleasantest films I've seen in a while.
